About Ibn Sina College

Ibn Sina Private College of Medical Sciences was established in Jeddah in 2004. It is the first private medical college in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the supervision of the Ministry of Education.

The college offers accredited undergraduate programs in human medicine, dentistry, clinical pharmacy, and nursing, in addition to postgraduate programs in dentistry and pharmacy The college boasts an advanced infrastructure that includes a teaching hospital and modern clinical facilities, and seeks to graduate qualified health professionals who contribute to the development of the health sector in the Kingdom

Ibn Sina Private College of Medical Sciences has received programmatic and institutional accreditation from several scientific and educational bodies, which enhances the confidence of students and employers in the quality of academic programs

National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA):

The college has held institutional accreditation since 2017, and full accreditation was renewed in 2024, confirming the college’s commitment to academic quality standards. Furthermore, the college was granted program accreditation for its Bachelor of Dental Surgery program in 2025.

The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) :

The program was designed in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the needs of the labor market, and is based on outcomes-based education.

The program includes three main components:

About the Master’s Program in Periodontics and Periodontal Surgery

The Master’s program in Periodontics is one of the postgraduate programs offered by the Dentistry program at Ibn Sina Private College, and it awards a Master’s degree in Periodontics. The Master’s program in Periodontics aims to prepare qualified national professionals specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal diseases and performing advanced surgical interventions according to the latest clinical practices and international educational standards. The program has been designed in line with the aspirations of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the needs of the labor market, and is based on outcomes-based education concepts.

About the Master of Family Dentistry Program

The Master of Family Dentistry program is one of the postgraduate programs offered by Ibn Sina Private College.

It aims to train dentists who possess the clinical and scientific skills to provide comprehensive and continuous family care, including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for all age groups, within the framework of integrated primary care.

The program focuses on promoting the concept of preventive and community dentistry. It takes into account health needs, quality standards, and outcomes-based education, in line with the changing needs of the individual, family, and society, and in accordance with the aspirations of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

The program includes three main components:

– In-depth theoretical study of the principles and practices of family dentistry.

– Multidisciplinary clinical training in a community setting.

– A research project in the field of preventive or community oral health.

College admission requirements

Applicants for the program must meet the following requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery from a recognized university.

– A minimum cumulative GPA of 0.3 out of 5 or its equivalent.

– Passing the personal interview.

– A valid professional classification from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).

– Proficiency in English (TOEFL or IELTS).

– Submission of three academic letters of recommendation.

– Passing any additional tests determined by the admissions committee.

– Medical fitness and good conduct.
