This course is aimed at providing a brief introduction on the basics of understanding the Medical Terms to all the entrants in the College.
Construction and deconstruction of Medical terms as used in the medical literature to decipher the meaning of a given term is of importance to the student. Greek and Latin words frequently used universally are written and pronounced differently from English words and meanings differ, too. This course introduces systematically the term composition and ways to understand the meanings and uses in the text.
