This course is an introductory course on basic principles of immunology focusing on the cellular and molecular processes involved in innate (non-specific) immunity and adaptive (specific) immunity. The course includes descriptions of the main elements of immunity, immune responses, development of immune cells, interactions between humoral and cell mediated immunity, and pathology resulting from immune responses.
