The anatomical form of the teeth is the basis of all reconstructive Dentistry. This course deals with the knowledge of tooth form and techniques for carving and building this form in wax. Models of teeth are used having part of the external structure missing. The classification of types of teeth, their eruption times, internal anatomy and recording codes are also studied. The course of Dental Morphology is given in the first semester of the second year of the BDS program.
