The course of Biochemistry I deal basically with chemistry of macromolecules like carbohydrates, amino acids, proteins and fats as well as that of nucleotides and nucleic acids. It also includes information regarding different classes of vitamins and their deficiency diseases. During this course, basic knowledge about immune system as well as enzymes will also be discussed.
