This is primarily a clinical course in advanced oral surgery which is designed to help dental students to carry out more complicated minor oral surgical procedures under local anaesthesia. It is part of the comprehensive advance courses in the fifth year. The student will carry a comprehensive dental care for the patient which includes surgical intervention.
